Sorry dude that doesn't get you Quinn Hughes, And Luke Hughes is committed to Michigan for a least 2 years they said. So Hughes wont be playing in NJ anytime soon if they are fortunate to draft him.

I mean, this is better than the rfa compensation they would get (4x 1sts) as it is 2 first round picks that are already developing and also 2 future 1sts.

If VAN rejected this I would then try an offer sheet of 7 x 12M AAV since VAN will have an incredibly difficult time matching that...

Quinn Hughes isn't worth 7 x12M AAV he's basically a $8M Dman at best, And NJ isn't in no position to surrender 4 1st considering just about all those 1st rounders will be lottery picks.

This is not a wise move
Keep Holtz, Foote, and the two 1sts

How? 4 1st round picks including a possible lottery pick doesn't get you a young defenseman who is good at offense but miserable at defense? lol

Yeah well NJ isn't giving up Foote and Holtz plus 2 decent 1st round picks. So it's pretty moot afterall.
