Olofsson plays RW not C, a Boston 2nd rounder in a draft that no one knows much after the first round is not a steep price to pay, essentially a 3rd round lottery ticket. What's really goofy, if it's such fair deal why would you even suggest it. Monahan isn't playing anywhere close to his contract in past two seasons. Sabres spend 6.35m X 2 a lot better than on Monahan.
Risto for Monahan, might be more along the basis for a trade.
