That was a side point, what would you give up for Logan Brown?

I think he’d get a 3rd back right now. Nothing much so just keep him

I Don't think he has any real value at this point. Ottawa might make a big move this offseason, and I'd expect he'd be a small part of that deal. I think he can still figure it out in a new environment, but the Sens missed their chance to salvage significant value there.

I'm not sure Seth Jones is the best target for Ottawa. He's gonna cost a **** ton to acquire, and I'm not sure how easy he will be to re-sign. I think Seth Jones will test the market, and that means Ottawa would likely need to overpay to keep him.

I don’t think you need Werenski when u have Sanderson and Chabot. He’s too similar to both. You need a defensive guy next to Chabot

I'd be more interested in Brandon Carlo. Ottawa is set long term on the left side.

Hmm...so what's your thoughts on Brandt Clarke?

Ekblads the dream right...but maybe someone like Brett Pesce or Cernak/Carlo

I like Clarke but then you’re not keeping Brannstrom to be a 3rd pairing guy so you have to trade him for a similar forward

this is just bad asset management for OTT. No way I'd even bother with Jones. Keep the 1st, draft someone good, This team has plenty of good youth. In two years it will be a force to deal with.

With Ottawa's late season surge probably having them drafting around 6-10, Clarke is probably one of the best possible options for Ottawa. I'd imagine in that case that you start shipping Erik Brannstrom to bring in an impact forward, either in a prospect swap or as part of a deal to acquire a young star. I love Brannstrom and think he's going to be great, but if the organization doesn't see him playing on the right side, he's probably more valuable as a big trade piece than as a 3rd pair LD, especially when Mete has been so good.

Unfortunately I don't imagine any of those young defensive RD will be available.

I’m not sure Clarke will be available at 7. But one of Kent Johnson, William Eklund, Mason McTavish should be

If they go for a forward, I think Fabian Lysell's skillset really compliments the Sens current lineup. Could be a wonderful skilled finisher opposite Stützle.

Brannstrom ++ to the sabres for their pick and you select Beniers? That's a beauty situation for Ottowa and the sabres would have to see what we get and then I could really see it for us as well.

Depends on what the plus is, but interesting. I think they might be better off taking Guenther.

We're not trading Jones for anything short of a #1C. Y'all would be much better off shopping elsewhere for Chabot's partner.

I think I'd give like our 2nd from BOS or Pilut and a 6th - He's hard to judge he has some skills but he seems to be lacking something - I don't know if he beats out our bottom six guys maybe he's a cheaper Girgenson but as of yet he doesn't have Girgenson's edge.
