Too much future to give up for Miller, we are not going to turn into contenders after that move. I assume the Avs want more for Graves than just Drouin even with retention. Neither Danault or Tatar are signing those contracts, not in terms of term or value.

We gotta say no. Shouldn't be moving Miller - it's a mistake and short sighted. Better days are ahead for VAN, this is just a one year low. I'd also want more quality than quantity.

Avs def pass. They’d be better off keeping Saad and letting Seattle take Graves and not lose anybody else. Or pass on Saad and Dru completely and keep the more important guys they need to re sign

The Avs should be interested in Drouin because like almost a decade ago him and MacKinnon played together logic is like Avs fan saying WOG should be interest in Compher because him and Connor were so good together at Michigan. You don’t make NHL decisions like that no matter how hard MTL fans try to push that narrative.

Back in the late 70s, early 80s, Three friends from the same home town (I believe they had the same birthday) played hockey and actually were stars playing together on the same line in the Quebec Junior Hockey League.
All three had the first name of Denis. Of course the nickname of the line was" Trois Denis". The centre was drafted second overall, the LW was drafted 7th. The RW had successful 25 year career.
The centre...Hall of Famer, Denis Savard. The LWer, a competent NHLer for many years Denis Cyr. The third, a don't know his last name had a 25 years career as postman in Quebec.

Just confirming your analysis....It's what you in the NHL that is important, not were you were line mates with pre NHL.
