Ottawa declines. Girgenson was a 3rd line pivot BEFORE his injury, which was significant. The odds of returning to pro sports after a hamstring injury as serious as his is estimated at 75-100%, not bad. But returning to the level of ability is 55-100%, which is not great for a guy who was already bottom 6.
