interesting, thanks. I don't think he's a great fit in NJ but I've always been a fan, fun to watch.

Kuzy is one of the most overrated players in the league and isn’t worth half his contract, now to trade a pick that will be used on an elite dman prospect for him would be awful

When you have Jack Hughes and you can use the first round pick to draft his brother. Keep the first rounder. Not to mention Luke Hughes could be a top pairing LD.

kuzy is rated as at 1b or 2c? you are saying that there currently is 60+ centers that are better than Kuzy? what exactly is overrated about him? i dont see him on any top 20 lists? i would love to hear how a player ina bad year gets 60points and in a good year gets 80- points but ranks outside the top 30 centers and is overrated. lol

The fact that people think he’s worth a top 4 pick when he has very little impact on the ice, his points are very deceiving similar to Kane how he racks up way more points than he actually effects the game

every time I've watched him he's had a pretty significant impact on the game

It really depends on whenever Hughes turns into a legitimate star producer, could be next year, could be 3 years from now. my guess would be 2 years

That’s the problem, I compared him to Kane for a reason, both are flashy players that get a lot of points but don’t effect the game much positively

I hope not. We have a guaranteed top 6 pick this year and there are 4 dman available. Im guessing at least one will fall to our pick

I would say 2-3 is about right. That would be when all of our young guys will develop. In about 2-3 years, teams like the Caps, Penguins, Bruins will start regressing a little so it would be the perfect time to start contending

Thoughts vary. I think Power is overrated personally and don't see anything special with Edvinsson, for me there are only 2 defenceman worth taking with that pick. Conversely I really like Lysell, Guenther, Johnson. If anyone in the organization shares my sentiment there is a very solid chance they take a forward with that pick.

Kuznetsov will be *a lot* cheaper than a 1st.
They are moving his salary.
NJD have two young centers playing top-6...where would we put him anyway?

gotta think he's capable of playing the wing. what do you think he would cost in a trade?

this is the most objective statement ive ever read... just say you dont like him. thats way easier than making up some lazy half baked narrative

makes sense. if NJD arent a competing team for 2 years Kuzy wouldbe a bad move. he makes sense to a team that needs a 1-2 c and is in a w in now mode. Vegas could really use him Stephenson is their 1c right now

if thats the case Kuzy does little to help and it would be a waste of assets imo. he needs to go to a team in a win now mode

"a lot cheaper than a 1st" lol i laughed hard at this. Explain why Caps trade a 1b or 2c for less than a 1st round pick +.

lol Rangers seem a little mad atm.. i imagine doing business with them could be tricky. Vegas makes a l ot of sense. Vegas could have him play w Stone and it would be crazy
