While Debrusk hasn't been good this year, Garland hasn't set the world on fire. I also mentioned 'if' Garland holds out and doesn't want to sign. Getting a player back that has scored 27 in a season and has the ability to be a perennial 25 goal scorer isn't a bad return.

The problem with trading debrusk right now is you’re not going to get anywhere close to fair value for him? Think you’re going to get 27 goal in 68 game value for debrusk? Well, you’re not, he just put up a stinker of a season, and other GMs were watching. That’s why i just don’t think it makes any sense to trade debrusk this off season. His upside is so much higher than his trade value.

Hell, I'd prefer Frederic or Clifton or even Zboril to Moore + Steen. I think it would take Beecher or Lauko to sweeten that pill sufficiently.
