Forget about bringing up enforcers from the Hartford Wolf Pack, even though I suggested it yesterday.

Just get this season over with.

There are a few things that have given me pause on this "controversy".

1. The tweet from the Rangers calling for the firing of the Head of DoPS

2. The firing of Jeff Gorton

3. The firing of John Davidson

4. The intrusion of ownership

Keep in mind this is the same ownership group that controls the Knicks. Just because the Knicks miss the playoffs and get pushed around by division rivals doesn't mean the Rangers have to as well.

Everything that has transpired over the last 48 hours is a joke.

Tom Wilson bears absolutely zero responsibility for what happened to the Rangers this season.
