Kane's contract is much better than Kreider's and he's outperforming him by quite a bit this season.

that is just way too much for Buchnevich, avs would decline that

good player but not even remotely worth giving all that up for the Avs. The cost of Buchnevich of a 1st Bowers and Ranta while downgrading from Nichushkin to Rooney is just a massive overpayment
