Additional Details:
two guys on down years. With one year left, I highly doubt that with one year left and after this year, Rakell pulls the return that Ducks fans desire.

But vice versa for the Bruins, who have somewhat extreme expectations for DeBrusk. Thus, the RFA status of Jake and his past tenure (Bennett treatment) and the role of Rakell for the future seems to be a near-lateral move that benefits both teams

Everyone who doesn't re-sign Krech is a fool. He is a key part of this team. Studnicka or Coyle will not be able to replace him. He would be the first line center on half the other teams in the league. Too valuable to lose!

agree - Especially if you resign Hall.

Also - I think he comes back on a team friendly deal. 4-6m

Same with Tuukka. I don't think he wants to play anywhere else. Offer him 4m for 1 year. He is 1000 times better than Ullmark. Let Swayman ease into starting role. Rask doesn't seem like he would care about being back up or 1/1a. He seems to enjoy the 40 game season.

I don't often sign Rask because it seems like his future is 50/50 beyond this season. Some fans/media outlets think he is done, other's dont. We don't really know, so I tend to go with a null hypothesis of retirement.
As for David - I think it's less likely that he moves on, but I also believe he might test the market. Again, there's no guarantees to anything in this league, and even guys we are convinced will resign sometimes don't. I don't think it's nonsense to make a build once in a while where Krejci moves on.
