Jost will be protected.
Francouz is healthy is the back up, they wont waste 2m on mike smith and put Frankie in the minors
Bellemare, Glendening, and Goodrow wont be signed, they wont spend in UFA to fill out their 4th line when they have a solid farm system and depth. Logan O'Connor, Jost and Bowers could be the 4th line at half the cost

Low on all the contract values in Landy, Makar, and Grubauer. So that makes it almost impossible to sign Hyman

1.85M for Glendening why? What possible value does a horrible metrics 4th line guy add to a good team, a 43.7 CF never higher than 45.7 in his career, literally Jost is better younger and currently cheaper. No way do the Avs want Makar to have a 5yr deal, Makar doesn’t want a 5 yr deal, he signs a 3yr bridge or an 8yr deal imo. The Avs would literally be better served to just sign their guys, lose a guy in XD, and push young guys into the 4th line.

Sabres pass unless this trade is done after the expansion draft. No reason for them to pay a 3rd for a player they would expose to Seattle

Plus they already have 4 centres that are all ready better than Compher too.

I don’t want to be mean but in what world do you think the pens will be able to carry JT he Dumo contract, the Matheson contract, the Pettersson contract AND the graves contract all at LD?

Don’t forget Riikola AND Olivier-Joseph at LD too...

Compher can play wing. He is a solid bottom 6 forward, just a little too much aav on his contract
