I think colorado should have went the sand paper type over sodes at the deadline. Not necessarily a fighter but with oconnor and calvert likely done for the season they could use some grit in the line up. A decent sized grinder would have been ideal for playoffs

I'd be ok with more grit but not at the expense of skill. I don't think anyone here is good enough to make the Avs starting lineup aside from Foligno (who I would love to have on the team, but I doubt MIN would trade him)

Nah, that is just that Earl08 guy who keeps on posting that type of old time out of date hockey takes of We need tough big guys, hitters, etc.
Sandpaper elements would be nice but they have to be good hockey players, good skaters, and smart players as well to fit the Avs identity. Guys who are just one dimensional physical dont do avs any good

If I were the Avs, I would go after Kevan Miller.

Toughest man in hockey. Bruins will try to retain him, but top 4 dman when healthy. Has a hard time staying healthy.

yea i'm all for it. as long as it's a cheap contract and doesnt cost more than a mid late draft pick.

I don't want to say Foligno is untouchable but he would cost a price it wouldn't make sense for the Avs to pay.

Tinordi is cheap. Mid to late round pick. Freddie was from the first round. A lot more expensive. Not as much as Foligno, but pretty good. Any good prospects?

Agreed. Foligno's the only one I'd want out of this group and Minny probably wouldn't look to deal him in the division. Boone Jenner wouldn't be a bad option, Blake Coleman too, but he won't come cheap on his next deal.

Yep grit and sandpaper is needed but not at the expense of skill. A couple more Landy types would be nice.
