Only with a Mika extension- no sense in buffalo acquiring him for a year.

Closer than most. swap Kakko + 2nd for Schneider + 1st and you're there.

Even without an extension? You don't really believe that one year of MZ, a (likely) 12-15 overall pick and Schneider (a number 4 at best) is enough for Jack..

I would agree that Buf would have to be able to negotiate an extension before the trade for sure..
