The Edmonton trio has only played together at 5v5 a total of 12 minutes over the past 2 seasons combined. They aren't a line.

If they were, they'd be #1.

This isnt necessarily lines that play together. Just the top 3 in each position on each team..

I see. They do play together on the powerplay, and Edmonton has the #1 ranking powerplay this year and last and it's not particularly close, so if these 3 were together at 5v5 they'd be the best line in hockey.

I should say, though, that I think Draisaitl-McDavid-Puljujarvi would be a better line. Puljujarvi is outscoring Nuge at even strength by a lot this year:
