I can't see Tampa exposing Cernak in the expansion draft. He's the only quality RHD in the system on a sub 3 mil contract.

with headman and McDonough being locked in I guess I can see them exposing foote then. Maybe if anything Tampa has to trade him or foote before the draft

Wild have Menell and Addison waiting. Butcher doesn't really move the needle. Menell was very good in the KHL this year and Addison is one of the top prospects in the AHL. They are the reason Dumba is expendable. Wild do have a lot of left shot wings most of those wings can play on the right, but Wild could use some right shot forwards or centers in general. So if you have something like that for sale Wild might be interested.

Agree with this. Minnesota seems like last place we would send Butcher. Unless it’s for one of their depth guys.

Cernak is protected so it can't be with Seattle

Unless Parise/Suter waives, the only reason we would leave Dumba unprotected would be to protect Greenway instead. That means he would be off the market.

Minnesota doesn't need to worry about picking up a Dumba replacement whatsoever so either let Seattle take Greener or Trade him for something that is actually worty it in some capacity
