Carter isn’t elite obviously, but he was a great trade deadline add for the price. Pens probably have the 4 best centre punch in the NHL this year. This team can absolutely make a run. Any team in the east can.

I’m so glad hextall made a move for him. Especially at that price. He absolutely has gas left in the tank. He’s not a 30+ goal scorer anymore but he looks like a great 3C

I'm so torn that you can actually call a team where Matheson is slotted in the first pair elite. And Ceci in the second.

Gotta say these guys have been impressive, considering the expectations.

No way pens change there lines now. Last night was an amazing game for that 3rd line and I hope that line stays for the playoffs. Here are my lines for playoffs.

Guentzel-Crosby-Rust
Zucker-Malkin-Kapanen
McCann-Carter-Gaudreau
ZAR-Blueger-Tanev

Dumo-Letang
Matheson-Ceci
Pettersson-Marino

Jarry
Desmith (if healthy)

These lines are scary, and I doubt that Sully changes those lines after last game. He already said that Gaudreau earned a spot on the roster. Hes been playing good as a RW on that line and he should stay there with Carter and McCann.
