Eh...
De Haan is not good. Keith is fine. Boqvist is a defensive liability. Nylander offers nothing to this team. Dach did return and wasn't anything special but was also still nursing an injury. Next year will be his breakout year hopefully.

Last year Nylander was a decent 4th liner who produced well enough given his circumstances. If nothing else he is an offensive boost to the 4th line of this team which never scores.

Why does it say his age is 31? lol. Idk...the hawks are beyond bursting at the seems right now with NHL ready players. Plus you add in maybe Reichel, Borgstrom, Shalunov and maybe his comrade next season. There's just no room for projects anymore. We have way too many players who have more of an upside than Nylander. He's a defensive liability which means he shouldn't be on the 4th line. He should really be our 2RW but he's not offensively consistent enough and defensively he shouldn't be on 4th line.

We need to see what we have in all these guys and take next season to continue the evaluation process much like this year. Get everyone another year of NHL experience. Then after next year focus on who we want to build our team around and who is out. I posted a team just now. take a look and you'll see what I mean. Waaaaayy too many players right now. By my count, and this didn't include Entwistle, we have 19 NHL ready Omen, 9 NHL ready Dmen, and 3 back up goalies. That total includes Borg, Shalunov, and Reichel.

I very much disagree with Boqvist as a defensive liability, if you look at the defenseman he is playing with. Theyre all slow guys who dont compliment his playstyle and are mistake prone. I think people just buy into his draft scouting report with the defensive liability stuff. Hes 20-21 and really improving. And it would be great if he had a defense partner who didn't hang him out to dry. Its also worth mentioning his defensive analytics aren't nearly as bad as you'd expect for a so called "liability" far better than Quinn Hughes, or even Rasmus Dahlin this season

Nylander is not a defensive liability, he put in a lot of effort into playing a two way game last season and he still has a ton of offensive upside. He has only played one full year in the NHL and only has room to improve. His age says 31 because of all of the undeserved hate Chicago fans have given him, effectively aging him almost a decade in the process.
