I do agree with most of the list, though some of these we all know aren't really what they used to be and rate accordingly. For the most part they are just players who are falling off.

Props for Pietrangelo. I don't think he's nearly at the level that the media/fans peg him at. Shea Theodore is far better but still Petro is seen as their best defender.

I think it’s been mostly hockey news panels like sports net and tsn that always call them crucial core pieces of their team and such. They just can’t let go of the value their names they have.

This season alone, Vancouver's most overrated player is likely Hughes. He's been far and away the worst defenseman since returning from the covid pause. I'm quite concerned tbh.... still, all the media and fans seem to think he's blameless. I don't question his potential is still high, but his season this year has been massively overrated.

It says something when Myers is your team's best defenseman, and I'm not even joking when I say this - Myers has been really good this year.

There's a few fanbases who see a bit more value to their players than actually should be. I think the rangers fanbase knows they are up there. But generally it's just the large market teams that push a bit much. All the Habs fans see me posting on this topic and probably shake their heads, but I won't open that can of worms now.

If I had to pick a Ranger, I think some Rangers fans are a bit excessive with Mika. He's very hot and cold, too much so to match the level of eliteness they assign. Certainly not one to mess with when hot, though.
If not Mika, I think the trade value in respect to Kravstov is considerable on this site.

I'm not ready to call Tkachuk overrated yet, pretty much everyone on the flames has had an off year, same with markstrom. Need to see a full 82 game season next year where they underperform before I say they're overrated. I also don't think JVR is overrated, he's just overpaid.

Price and Weber are playing like **** this year
Weber was declining a little bit before but really fell of a cliff this year
For Price, he was good the last YEARS, the team in front of him didn’t helped him

I agree Petro has been a shade off offensively this season, but he is more typically underrated. And Tkachuk isn't overrated, he has sinking tide drops all boats syndrome. Compared to the rest of that team (aside from LIndholm), he's a godsend.

Benn is fine, Pairse and Van Riemsdyk are more underrated at this point. Tkachuk, Keller and Dadonov are all pretty good players. Pietrangelo is good. Weber is fine. Honestly, even a guy like Duchene is probably underrated at this point - he gets lumped in with Johansen but is a much better player. I'd rather just not pay either 8 mil.

You should swap Weber and Edmundson.

The fans here don't want Weber playing while they pretend like Edmundson is a savior.
