Boston will try to resign HAll and they do not have the cap, plus Debrusk fallen out of favor there, he is paying on their 3rd line and his points dropped this year, guess that will make any player upset and start trade rumors...it is not Jones Boston wants it is the cap crunch they will feel fi they sign Hall
AS for RNH, his first choice would be Oilers so it could be similar to when Montreal signed Subban and traded him afterwards, anything happen in flat cap era
Oilers need to be creative if they want to be contenders for years to come
You said a lot of things there. Problem is, there are some inaccuracies. First, the situation with debrusk:
He’s had a down year. No question about that. GMs aren’t foolish enough to judge players solely off this season, given how unorthodox it was. Short off season, no pre-season schedule, not much notice as to when the season was actually starting etc. so do you think a team trades a kid taht put up 27 goals in 68 games one season for absolutely nothing based off this season? No. Literally no GM is that stupid, and there are some ones out there that are pretty dopey. They aren’t trading debrusk. They aren’t exposing him. It seems pretty obvious the bruins will let him try to play himself out of this, and if he doesn’t, and they get nothing for him in the end, well, that’s about the same as this trade.
The cap:
I just don’t know where you’re coming from here. Might want to visit the bruins page. Ample cap room. They could sign hall, krejci, rask, carlo, and have a comfortable 5 million to spare.
