DeBrincat is not the type of player that you guys can get through trade. Should have drafted him when you had the chance.

Debrincat's 116 goals in his 1st (4) seasons makes him 3rd (ahead of both Toews and Kane) all time on an original 6 team...and during (2) COVID shortened seasons. Pretty DANG impressive.

No way. The difference between Pulju and Cat + Strome is MUCH bigger than Broberg and a first considering that Broberg hasn't progressed as much as he should have.

If im Chicago it starts with Pulju + Holloway + Bouchard + Skinner +.

A 1st, Pilju and Broberg doesn't get you Debrincat though, one of the premiere goal scorers in the NHL for years to come, someone that would require quite the overpayment, which isn't what you are suggesting.

A guy like debrincat simply won't be available unless you stupidly overpay (as they say everyone has their price) or some extenuating circumstances (like he decides he hated the coach or something and holds out). Otherwise I just can't see them trading him

Debrincat is the closest thing to untouchable as you can get, but man, McDavid with Brinsky again could be stupid. And having a great scoring winger would allow Draisaitl to run his own line without McDavid being hung out to dry. For Debrincat, I think fair value is Holloway, Broberg and a first.
As for strome, probably just a second and third to get him
