I've been praying that Dallas fires their whole staff, yet NYR does it first, and there's still nobody fired yet from our side. WTF.

If they didn't have NIll and Bones steering the ship, they would have at least been a playoff team.

Are Zegras and Drysdale still considered rookies for next year? Typically the rule is 25 games but they each played 24 in a shortened season. Would they lose eligibility because of proration? How does this work?

I would think because of proration they lose the eligibility but i'd have to check

Since this is an award and not performance bonuses of anything cap-based, I’m pretty sure that there’s no pro-ration.

Barabanov comes in to SJS at a 1mil x 1 year with his new contract. I thought (while minor) he would be a little more expensive (like 1.5'ish) but a great deal for both parties, as Barabanov has found a home.

He's been a great leader for the past few years in the Q. I'm pretty shocked the Canes didn't sign him before he became a free agent.

I just watched a Kevyn Adams interview and let me say something...

I feel awful for the dude. He's in a very difficult situation right now, has no help (no competent President of Hockey Ops) and has no experience as GM.

For the sake of Sabres fans, I hope he can do a good job.

Quebec Nordiques return?

Quebec does have a stadium ready, couple of millionaires wanting to own a team, and like what happened with Atlanta it can be a quick move rather than a long one. Saves money and time and another Northern Rivalry can return.

Doubtful we see Eichel go to the Flames, but anything can happen.

Eichel isn't really injured. He needs a surgery and it's a quick recovery.

Yeah. Weber, Price, and Gallagher are all out with previous injuries, but Petry, Edmundson, Allen, Anderson, Toffoli, and Staal all played on Monday.

It's been this way all season. They just are flat every game against STL.
