Slight Upgrade

Created by: RClay321
Team: 2021-22 St. Louis Blues
Initial Creation Date: May 9, 2021
Published: May 9, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Left a little wiggle room for another 4th liner or if contracts are a tad more expensive.

I wouldn't mind resigning Hoffman, however the only way I see that is moving one of Tarasenko, Krug, or Faulk. Tarasenko will be hard with the injuries, Krug would be the easiest imo maybe Detroit, and Faulk could be done but the return will be less than Krug imo

I can’t see the Blues letting Dunn walk for nothing. There’s other teams that would offer assets.

no matter what, they are loosing someone good. Walman has pretty much taken Dunn's spot so he becomes expendable

I like Walman and he’s really playing with confidence, but he has 2 points in 24 games. He definitely has upside but it still doesn’t make sense to let Dunn walk for free

If they trade Dunn before the expansion draft then they lose one of Blais, Barbashev, Sundqvist, or Sanford. Maybe even Walman (can't remember if he is available). That would mean losing 2 pieces for a second likely. I would rather just lose the 1 person
