Intriguing trade with San Jose. They should take it for sure as they try to get out of their big contract debacle. 3 good parts and a guy they can flip at the deadline

Yandle scratched tho?

Maybe not scratched, but I just want him off the top PP unit
3rd pairing and 2nd unit is ok

Sure tho Bobro young Knight as a goalie duo 😕

One too old, one too young, maybe .905 overall

What the extra cap space for a solid guy to backup

Way too much to give up to dump Stralman. Rather let Denisenko & Heponiemi continue to develop on the cheap than put 6 mil for 2 more yrs of Timo

Meier is still an RFA and can renegotiate his QO to be less than 10 mil since he isn't gonna get that anywhere
He could be a long term piece
Most of the price is to acquire meier, not dump stralman
At some point we have to make a push for the cup and use some of our assets to make a run

Really love what you were able to do here, however I would expect either a Yandle trade or him to be in over Forsling or Nutivaara. Tons of cap to play around with too, could be a solid team here.

I would much rather play Forsling and Nuti over Yandle, or bench him after he gets his "iron" man streak record, at this point his streak, diminishing skill and soft play is making the team worse than it could be
If we could somehow move him in a part of a bigger deal to acquire a better player it would be the best

Sharks should consider it.

On that note, do you think the sharks would accept if we put yandle instead of stralman?

no, in fact I think the sharks would decline because either of them are there.

I could see a possible deal that could involve maybe a Yandle for Ghost. both have the same term and it could A. add leadership to a struggling philly, and add some youth that can bounce back to florida for cheaper.

On that note, do you think the sharks would accept if we put yandle instead of stralman?
