@BrodinCheerD, @Lightman13 is there a deal in place? Russo kinda hinted the Wild may look into it and I feel as if Guerin has proceeded as if he has a plan but I have heard nothing about it being a sure thing.

It's speculation. GMBG said something around the TDL about not having any conversations with SEA yet. Too many variables with what other teams will do between then and the expansion draft.

Think about it, the SEA GM would be dumb as a box of rocks to make any deals months ahead of the expansion draft. Especially with one of the teams that will end up giving you a quality player.

Personally I hate side the idea of a side deal. Nobody that made side deals with Vegas won the side deal, but Nashville who said “we’ll deal with whoever we lose” I thought came out of it best. Heck even if the wild were to lose talbot over dumba there are a lot of goalies hiring fa this offseason. I wouldn’t want the wild to give up a 1st to protect dumba and talbot or something.
