I’m playing, but if he’s out till the playoffs, I think there will be a full out riot especially if they win the cup this year. Whatever it is, they announced he’d be having surgery this offseason so we’ll see what that entails

I still believed in the Russian Bobby Orr (i think that’s what they called Lehtonen). Having 2 defensemen that can play both sides in Sergachev and Lehtonen could be cool. And they Russian so maybe use some Russian telepathic skills whenever they out together

Buyout Johnson he’s like taking up a roster spot and we keep bleeding first round picks every year so don’t wanna throw another one to move him.

A third line which is kids line could be fun, all 3 have played on a line together in Syracuse (don’t quote me on that)

We have a full 82 game season ahead. It would have to be quite the surgery/injury to keep him out the entire season.

How would it work with Tampa being cap compliant at least for the beginning of the year? Like Stamkos where he’s put on LTIR prior to the start of the season? Cause in that case, Tampa has a little more time

I assume so, but I don't think it would be wise to go into the season waiting to see if someone else ends up on LTIR or having to trade someone mid-season to be cap compliant. Unless it's Stamkos medically retiring, I think the cap crunch is coming this summer.
