Way too much money for Coleman. I understand why you feel the need to let both Hoffman and Schwartz go. I would definitely say let Hoffman walk. Schwartz is extremely valuable though. While I agree with the long term contract issue, Tarasenko only has 2 years left. Sanford should be gone in my opinion. Guy just doesn't have it in him most nights. I do like giving Neighbors and Kostin legitimate shots.

I like 3 and 4. Those are gonna be low-key really important decisions that better be acted upon. If we lose Dunn to expansion and roll out Binner-Husso next year, I will not be thrilled.

#1 is a reasonable opinion, but I still think they can find a reasonable deal for Schwartz to perform to. I like the signings you show here though.

#2 is probably the hot take - I don't see why you wouldn't want to give Neighbours and Perunovich a year to develop in the AHL. Kostin would be the exception, he should be getting a long look at training camp, and if he fails to make the team, that's a bad situation

With Schwartz it comes down to term. I wouldn't want to give him more than 5x5. I think Neighbours and Perunovich should be ready next year. If not, they could always have a 9 game trial and go back to the AHL if they are not ready.

I'd rather have Coleman at 4x4.25 than Schwartz at anything larger than 5x5. Also I am totally fine with not qualifying Sanford. Hoping Seattle takes him but it will probably be Barbashev or Blais

Schwartz deserves what binnington got

His numbers are inflated due to playing with better talent. I like him in a 3rd line role, but not for over 4 mil a year. I'm also fine with not signing Schwartz if he doesn't want anything less than 6 mil. But I would try to sign him as much as possible

he is playing with Gourde and Goodrow. Schwartz has been playing with Schenn and Tarasenko most of the season

Schwartz has been all over the place. Hasn't really had that much consistency and was injured. Tarasenko also played less than half the season. Schwartz even when not scoring is playing great two-way hockey.
