Jenner-Strome

Description
Strome can be 1C in CBJ, and Jenner can flip back and forth with Chytil as 2/3 until Chytil reaches potential, or not.
Jenner and Strome both went first round in the same draft, Strome has more points/game in similar games played, but he also has the more expensive contract, perhaps Rangers could get CBJ to throw a pick in as well.

Strome was the best C I could see who didn't have a NMC, and was actually likely to move, as well as having a decent contract. Point is a similar choice, but not sure TB would part with him. Rangers might be seeking to exchange skill for some extra grit atm.

Makes for a decent skilled top line, on the cheap. There is plenty of money to round out the bottom 6, or the 3rd pair with vets, but I went thrifty and forced the rookies into service.

Not sure what the Rangers are trying to do with a move like this.

Needs to be an upgrade or a decent return of futures.

like i said in the description; rangers could probably get CBJ to throw a pick of some kind in. But realistically these guys were both taken first round of the same draft, and have pretty close point per game numbers over 500+ games played (0.55 for Strome, 0.45 for Jenner)

You also have Jenner at 55% faceoffs and Strome at 45%

Wasn't Jenner a 2nd round pick? Not that it matters as NY wouldn't make this trade but pretty sure he is.
