Don’t think it is very likely he ends up in SJ. Think the likely place for him is Rangers. More convinced of the fact that Sharks cannot land him after trying with this :-) but here is my suggestion to get him to San Jose.

Cap hell in 2024-25 and 2025-26 when SJ is playing Vlasic $5M+ to not play. Even with Burns gone, I don't see how that salary math works.

Ya, i just don’t think there’s much in there for the Sabres to get excited about. Meier likely gone when their window to compete again is open. A 1st, a 2nd, and some, “meh,” prospects.

No point in the Sharks getting Eichel at this point. Our best bet is to commit to the rebuild and potentially draft our own version of Eichel (Wright/Bedard) in the next couple of years.
