            My prediction

            Rangers
            Kings
            Wild
            Knights
            Montreal
            Panthers
            Sabres

            In that order

Most likely comes down to who is willing to move one (or possibly more in a bidding war) of the "untouchables" everyone seems to like to talk about. Someone will. My money is on LA (Byfield).

            Two words: Cap Space

Also, I think the Rangers will way overpay for Eichel.

If the Lightning can finesse the salary cap by spamming LTIR while spending $96M (edit: $98.9M) I’m not overly concerned about it

I only see teams underpaying for Eichel too by the way.

Just for “lols” I’m saying Vegas cause that damn team always somehow gets what they want.

They’ll probably offer Reaves and the Pegulas will see some grit and determination there (and not a 7.5m s bonus).

Probably Weegar + Barkov according to BUF fan's asking prices. sarcasm

I could see Florida or la depending on kopitar contract, and retaining barkov extension. 10 million is a tougher fit as we go forward, I wonder if it’s a Seattle option. I could see Rangers doing it, but will be interesting for future contracts for the kids

Wild have a top ten prospect pool and a plethora of draft picks.

            We have the assets.

I just don't think we're inclined to give up the overpay it'll take. Even with Eichel's price coming down now.

Lightning haven't fixed their cap situation. The only reason they are under the cap is because their best player is injured. Rangers can't do that

Forgot about him. I think this would be one of the few instances where lundell could get traded. He is more cost controlled too so there’s that.

            FLA is interesting
            Lundell
            Tippet
            1st
            1st
            Roster player?

Just spit balling, but that’s an interesting destination

I think that's an overpay, unless we add a cap dump like yandle
This is the only player "on the market" i would give up lundell for

Yeah, I’ll admit I don’t know the team too well. I just know those are great prospects.

He stays in buffalo for 1 more season to build his value back up and gets traded on June 30th 2022, the day before his NMC kicks in

He has more value now than in a year. It's an extra year the team he goes to gets him for. It's not like he'll be a TDL acquire for anyone with his cap hit to boost his value then.
