He has more value now than in a year. It's an extra year the team he goes to gets him for. It's not like he'll be a TDL acquire for anyone with his cap hit to boost his value then.

Idk if thats true if hes coming off a huge injury

Lightning haven't fixed their cap situation. The only reason they are under the cap is because their best player is injured. Rangers can't do that

9 in 10 stanley cup contenders are over the salary cap by varying degrees. It doesn’t faze me. Worst case scenario there’s a buyout to one of Trouba or Kreider, which wouldn’t count as negative cap savings until after the salary cap goes up

How much faith do you have in your new GM? Because I know nothing about him. Do you think he's smart enough to find a way to stay under the cap?

Good question actually. There’s not much evidence I can really base my answer off to give you a good answer.

I assumed the REEEEEEEEEEEEEE was indicative I was joking, but if it isn’t, then I will confirm I was not serious. For context, jokes like these have also been somewhat of a running gag between @Devil1122 and I, lol.

I had a little suspicion of course. Just wanted my 2 cents that LA beat both
