None from CHI. No need for dumba here. We need a LD and Lindholm from ANA is prob a better fit for us at this stage of our development/rebuild.

Eh I disagree. I'm high on our young guys projectability, but I think unless we plan on straight up tanking for the next 2 years, it would be better to support Kane while he is still active and before Kubalik passes his prime. If we dont plan on upgrading the team this offseason, I want to sell sell sell on Kubs, Strome, and any other piece we can get significant capital for. If we do plan on upgrading now, I think supplementing Kane Debrincat and Kubalik with a 1D on both sides is ideal. Maybe you would prefer to sign a guy like Hamilton, but I think with Dumba's contract length, it fits pretty well with our expected window, or atleast the current one. Plus his cap hit would make it possible to go after that other 1LD and let Keith chill out a little bit and increase his level of play in less minutes. For me it all comes down to the direction the FO wants to take. I personally think it would be best to tank for 2 more years, so Dumba would be a no from me, but knowing Bowman is probably on the hot seat, I say he goes for it. In this case, my offer for Dumba is Strome, Galvas/Regula, and a 2nd.

Yes that is all I would offer, but I don't think that helps them with their Eichel pursuit which I still think is unlikely due to what will be MIN cap problems re-signing everyone.

If MIN took this offer however, got no issues as it leaves us with our 1st and other prospects to go for a LD like Lindholm if as you've mentioned above, we decide to go for it with Kane still relevant.

With their prospect pool, I don't think it would make sense for MN to go for Eichel, especially if they were also dangling Dumba, but that is a possible point. Strictly speaking for the Dumba offer, I agree it would be important to keep the 1st to dangle in another trade, so I would keep the offer to Strome and an upper level D prospect that would offset the cost from a 1st to a 2nd.

Probably a pass from the jets. We probably want a big, physical top 4 shutdown guy, not dumba who is more of an offensive guy.

Better question: how much would you pay us to protect him for you? Or how much would you pay for us to protect him then buy him out so you can resign him for cheap?
