Doesn’t COL need a 3C? Kerfoot has stunk this season but his stats from 2018/19 were insane!

I’m not sure the hawks are dying to gift you Dylan Strome at half retained for a late 2nd round pick. So obviously that’s not going to work out.

He’s been a healthy scratch for most of the season. Obviously doesn’t hold much value.

No they dont need a 3C, Jost is more than fine in that role and has been producing very respectable offensive numbers in that roll.
Kerfoot didnt work as a 3C in colorado when he was there,

and if he stunk, why are the avs traded a 2nd round pick for a guy making over 3m and not being effective.

I think that’s the most you’d get for Strome at this point honestly.

Strome probably isn't going to fetch more, but that's all the more reason why we probably won't trade him. He's been in and out after his most recent injury, but when he's been in he has made offense happen. I would imagine his value will raise with consistent playing time next season, assuming he avoids injury.

I'd rather take a chance on Ho-Sang at league minimum as a UFA this summer than Dal Colle. Ho-Sang got buried because of Lou, Dal Colle has played some games and not shown much of anything at all

CapFriendly needs to do a “Most Common Trades” list, cause Kerfoot to CBJ is always here, and it’s always a bad trade.

My man, CBJ got plenty of Bottom-Six talent. Only way we take him off your hands is if TOR packages a 2nd with him.

In that case, sure, why not.

Honestly Kerfoot has been garbage this season for TOR so I can get why you don’t want him. It will be a miracle for anyone to take a chance on him.

That’s fair. Strome is like 1st amongst CHI forwards in on ice xGF, so he still has his uses. But I don’t think he’ll get another opportunity with your team. They are loaded with centers & the coach sees him as the least valuable guy.

He's a solid bottom 6 forward who will probably re-sign for 800 k , makes more sense for the isles to hold on to him.

I’m not saying he’s done poorly for NYI, it’s just I feel he’d get the opportunity to better showcase his talents with Tavares & Nylander than with Komarov & Johnston or whoever.

He usually plays with pageau and wahlstrom, but I get your point - but he’s still under team control and he is a good player so I don’t see why the isles would give him up for nothing

Well then that explains his strong results. But still, he can’t even keep a roster spot at age 25 so I don’t see why NYI should qualify him.
