This is interesting.......but I don't see DAL doing it. They've already got too much $$ tied up in Benn and Seguin

Never mind that, I wouldn’t do Heiskanen one for one for Eichel.

Heiskanen holds more value than Eichel to us. Plus for production per contract, Hintz also beats Eichel in that category. We also don’t have the cap. Easy no from Dallas.

I agree heiskanen is valuable for Dallas. But to say hintz has a better contract per production then getting eichel I get a good chuckle

Why? Eichel is payed 3 times as much as Hintz, yet Hintz has a higher point per game than Eichel, plus Hintz was playing through an injury that requires surgery in the off-season, he also has an amazing two way game. It's a fair take that I would rather have Hintz at 3.15 mill than Eichel at 10 mill.

Let's not get carried away, as this year is an outlier with the Eichel injury. Hintz right now has better production by contract, but he still hasn't hit RFA status. He'll be in the 5-6 mil convo in a couple years.
But, that being said I'd rather have Heiskanen, Hintz, the first than Eichel. All Dallas has to do is shed the Benn and Seguin contracts and they're in good shape.

Hintz was also injured throughout this season, plus Heiskanen had a down year. I won’t make any assumptions based on this year, but Heiskanen led his team to the cup finals last year and was their best player in only his 2nd season, Hintz was a successor of this season, but it was only a matter of time until he was going to break out. In a flat cap world we can’t afford 3 ten million contract, we aren’t the Toronto Maple Leafs.

It's probably true, Eichel makes 10 million and had a terrible year.
