I like the Kessel and Meier trades. Doubt Tampa wants to trade Cernak. Maybe get Foote instead

Tampa won't trade Cernak. Kessel will not waive for NJ. Seattle isn't taking Subban. No one is trading anything of value in a deal that involves Butcher.

Driedger & Hakky both have small NHL sample sizes

Driedger has been phenomenal so far (.927sv%)

Hakanpaa has been just kinda not terrible in his

Why would they deserve or receive similar deals

Jani much more likely to decline given age
