Quick isn’t a cap dump. Kings have plenty of cap space

Eichel trade looks about right. Both sides are likely happy with it (Kings keep Byfield and get rid of Quick which is a big win in any Eichel deal).

I doubt Anaheim gives up Steel for Reinhart. Maybe so it's not crazy...but I suspect no.

You are drastically overrating Kupari & Fmo. An A prospect is someone like Byfield or Drysdale. Those two are a tier below them.

Quick is a 35 year old below average backup goalie making 5.8 million. He has negative value. So yes, he's a cap dump.

You think Kupari is on the same level as Byfield or Drysdale? You think a 5.8 million backup goalie isn't a cap dump?

Quick is toast, his numbers would have been fine in the late 80s

Steel has flamed out as a top 6 star forward he was supposed to be, hes a reclamation project. With Reinhart back at center now too, I dont see why Anaheim would be so attached

Not at all I’m looking at the bigger picture in the fact that calling those prospects B in the kings prospect pool should be taken lightly. I’ll give you ****emo but Kupari would be an A prospect in 90% of the other teams pools

He’s not a cap dump. Cap dumps are for teams in need of space.

Him being a B prospect has nothing to do with which team has his rights, but how he's developed & produced thus far. Kupari had a .3 PPG in the AHL at 19/20 and a .7PPG in the AHL at 20/21. That's not an A prospect. He's similar to someone like Asplund, who obviously isn't an A prospect either.

Someone that's an A prospect is a guy like Byfield or Lundell, who's development projects them to be a top player. There's nothing showing that Kupari will be a top player.

I think kings should stay the course. Eichel is very good but sacrificing the future could hurt LA

You're giving up 3 prospects lol. Sacrificing the future is a huge exaggeration.
