I'm giving Winnipeg a pity win, otherwise the Oilers should look to easily continue their dominance over the Jets. Their forwards have checked out on the coaching staff and their blueline can't contain Edmonton's two scoring lines.

Honestly the only thing that could save the jets is Hellybuck going sicko mode. Ehlers returning is also nice but people forget he underperforms in the playoffs.
I see it as
95% Edm wins
5% Hellybuck stands on his head and Jets win

If that wasn't the pity win, Oilers are in big trouble.

Had the sweep on my official bracket.
It concerns me that we were that ineffective when Dubois and Ehlers weren't in. Wasn't a fan of the Neal-McLeod-Kassian line either.
EDIT: I'll probably feel better about this game in the morning. Underlying numbers suggest Edmonton fed the Jets their own lunch tonight. Goddamn Hellebyuck.
And people who think the Leafs will easily beat MTL are in for a big surprise, too.
here is the difference
Price has not played since April, Hellybuck never got injured the entire season
Hellybuck over his last 5 games had a 0.938 including 2 shutouts. He stood on his head tonight and became a wall and that wall stopped the Oilers overwhelming offense.
As for Price things are not as pretty
Price played a game in the AHL and had a 0.867 allowing 2 goals on 4 shots, He has not played an NHL game since April and while he is practicing not being in a game for that long can be bad for game readiness.
Habs best chance of winning was for playoff Price to show up and right now he does not look ready
i mean he was awake before the season ended but yeah
Hellybuck over his last 5 games before playoffs had a 0.938 including 2 shutouts
But man does this prove my theory on Edmontons lacking of scoring depth and that needs to be fixed (if Draisaitl and Mcdavid dont show the team should not struggle to score)
He wasn't terrible by any means but not his best game, first goal he let out a bad rebound but it was poor d zone coverage and then the 2nd one he had no chance, tipped in off a rocket point shot. He never really looked all that comfortable though, let out a few bad rebounds and looked like he was fighting the puck a lot.
