To ensure SEA doesn't take a player the Bruins would rather keep, plus avoiding the dead cap hit for 4 seasons.

You paid the, now three game Kase, more than Ritchie who played every game this season and had a career year. Lmao. Kase will be lucky to get 1 mill.

ok but the dead cap hit would be around 850k per year i think, i would rather keep the first and let seattle pick another player.
or maybe they take moore for a 2nd or 3rd
but since the bruins had only a few 1st round picks in the past years i would definitely keep the 1st

I want Mike Reilly back on the Bruins next season just as much as the next guy, however- he'll be talking to a lot of teams. There will be a team out there who'd give Reilly more. 28 year old puck moving dman off a great season is going to be popular in free agency. Don't think the Bruins will win any bidding war. It is very dependent on Hall, Krejci, Rask taking those discounts...which could very well happen

Ritchie will fetch probably around a million more.

Kase shouldn't fetch much money, if at all. I'd go max 1.5 for one year with him. Just not a fan of rewarding a player 2+ million for basically not playing for the team this whole time

After that, this is pretty solid. Very well done. That's exactly how much I think Carlo will get (term and $). Anything less for Carlo would be great.

Just one more thing- I would really like it if Bruins had extra money laying around and can bring in a pretty dang good 4th liner. Wagner should no longer be guaranteed a spot on this team, I think the direction of a speedy, defensive first 4th line with Lazar,Kuhlman, wouldn't be such a bad idea. Maybe bring in a 4th liner who has some good wheels and is pretty established as a consistent 4th liner. That could just be me though..if not maybe even another 3rd liner (doubtful)
