I like reinhart but i don't think Colorado moves newhook unless its a better center coming back, he is going to be #2 next year and this just creates a hole for them. Plus any trade is going to need money going out with their contracts this off season, they wouldn't be able to afford to resign him.

I actually hate the olfosson trade. Weissbach will not be in the NHL next year. I think tage gets protected.

This doesn't work for Colorado. They won't be trading Newhook, and they can't take on Reinhart's salary unless they move dollars out.

The player would be nice to have, but it's hard to find a way that it works considering the cap aspect, guys the Avs won't move, etc.

I have to agree this is the most even Eichel trade I've seen. Now if the majority of NYR fans and Buffalo fans both argue the trade is unfair you know you got it right.
