I doubt you get Byfield and Kaliyev. LA probably walks away. If they don't, this definitely gets it done.

Forgot to add: Philly says no. Minnesota probably says no though the value is fair.

Philly declines. Ristolainen is bad defensively and we need defensive D-men.

Kings lose their best prospect and their 4/5th best prospect, take on $10M, and lose two high picks for an injured all-star coming off his worst season and actually weaken their areas of concern: top-line winger and left topline defense. I think the Kings would maybe give up Turcotte and Kupari, but I still think that's a mistake.

I’d put Boldy in play for Reinhart. The 1st would have to be a 2021 and I’d want to talk to him before the deal about an extension but if do that.

If they'd do it, sign me up. No doubt the extension would have to be a sure thing.

That’s the biggest impediment here. But I think Reinhart is a better fit than Eichel given the value.

You aren't getting this much for sam reinhart

Reinhart is a career 36 percent face-off man whose restricted, & wants out

Wild aren't going to trade their 2022 1st round pick in a trade for sam reinhart

We don't really have the cap space for this type of move unless Dumba were traded or taken by Seattle. Reinhart does intrigue me a lot since he has looked good at center. I think both he and Eichel (at the right price) are worth looks by our fo.

Definitely. I like the value and fit for Reinhart. I think what people lose sight of in an Eichel trade are all the things you need to do to make the cap fit and those things make us worse.

Maybe we’re comfortable with Soucy in place of Dumba or we can replace him with a lower cost UFA? I’m not sure I’m there right now. But I really do like the idea of Reinhart at this cost.

They wouldn't be acquiring him to play center. He's a RW at this point.
