Drury would be the shortest tenured GM of all time if he made this deal LOL............But this would end the Sabre rebuild quite quickly....

I think trading away top 5 picks, and their future for two bottom 6 players and eichel may not work out in favour of New York, still, fun trade, I'd like to see this happen.

Understand that Drury isn't the one pulling the plug on this trade as being reported if the Rangers do make a move for Eichel as the ownership wants Eichel and to change to a win now mode. Rangers Ownership are said to be willing to bend over backwards to land Eichel. If that is the case Buffalo should be able to land a good amount of pieces in return while moving out bad contracts or players that simple don't want to play for them.

I agree that Skinner might be a bit much unless salary is retained .....

There is no way the Rangers give up that much, That would put them back into a rebuild.
