Would you do Hischier, Foote, and our top 5 pick this year. Could also throw in piece like Butcher

I think some of these need conditions on Eichel due to injury uncertainties.

Also LA won't be trading Byfield

Jersey definitely wouldn't do that, I would say Hischier + Foote + Luke Hughes has more value than Eichel even if he was healthy

          Devils shouldn't
          Injury is legit concern

I'm a scout for Hockey Canada, and I've heard from some people I know around the NHL that Ottawa has quietly been in on Eichel for awhile. Not saying they'd get him, but they have the prospects and cap space to do it too.

It would cost them Tim Stutzle and probably next season’s 1st to start. Do you think they would do that?

Not a chance. & I don't think it'll cost them Stuetzle at all. Everyone knows Eichel wants out and not many teams have the cap space and money to do it with a pandemic affected cap. I think that drives the price down from wanting "4 1st round talents" to maybe 3 and a wildcard prospect. I'd guess that guys like Pinto, Batherson, Bernard-Docker, Thomson, etc would be the guys to be involved with multiple 1sts. But I see Stuetzle, Thachuk, Chabot, and Sanderson as completely off limits in any deal. I think the wild card is Josh Norris. With his connection to Tkachuk, Ottawa might not wanna move him but to get Eichel they might. Then a future 1-2 punch down the middle of Eichel-Stuetzle would be top 5 in the league

Speaking only for Los Angeles, No.

I'm still convinced that smart GMs will wait until the trade deadline to make an offer on Eichel to ensure that he's made a complete recovery from his injury. It would look idiotic to trade away half the farm and then have Eichel go on the LTIR after 30 or 40 games.
