Description
Fundamentally speaking something is wrong in this organisation. I personally think the only way to build it again is to have their current owners sell the team, and relocate somewhere completely new place. My personal suggestion is Portland, Oregon. It's a relatively big city with no professional hockey team.

As for the team name, I thought Portland Beavers could work. Simply because commonly the sports teams in the region are based on the natural aspect of the state/city (Timbers, Trail Blazers), and Beaver is the state animal of Oregon lol.

Naturally since this change could happen at 2022 the earliest, they decide to move assets and specifically target for picks for the 2022 draft, as it would be the first one for the new Portland team.

Winnipeg says no. The Jets might have interest in Ristolainen, but would have no interest in Mittelstadt.

There is zero chance they are trading Dahlin, he is very easy to build around from scratch.

Isles is interesting but I think they say no. Wahlstrom is the best pure shooter they have had in a long time, and still on his ELC.

The trade would not save Isles any cap space and would force them to move multiple players this offseason to re-sign their key RFA's.

Think you're right. Just wanted to truly start from scratch, and Dahlin's immensely great asset to garner future pieces with.

Potentially Buffalo, or whatever that team would become, is better off keeping Dahlin as he's a future asset as well but if sh*t hits the fan at least they get something for him.

OTT's blow up didn't really effect that much on Chabot. Dahlin took a few steps back from last couple of years this year.

Dahlin had a rough start to the season, then got covid, then finished the season pretty strong. Hes also only 21.

Indeed, hence I said you're right that BUF will keep him.

I wouldn’t make this trade if I’m the kings. That’s too much
