Overvalue Reinhart much? He doesn't have that kind of value. Rumor has it that Ullmark is going back home to Sweden to be near family. So he's not going to Seattle. And Bernier and Glendening aren't leaving Detroit for the likes of Buffalo if neither sign with Detroit they will sign with playoff teams not Buffalo.

What is Reinhart getting back? Foudy, a 1st, a back up goalie, and a 3rd liner whos averaged 12 goals a season the last 3 years?

I highly doubt Ullmark is leaving the NHL. Bernier and Glendening will take the most money they can get. Not a ton of playoff teams will be offering them deals anyway.

Reinhart will fetch a good price but not that much. Eichel is currently not worth the 4 1st round equivalents with his trade value being at an all time low. Reinhart probably gets more than Eichel though with the way he’s played this season. Plus neck injuries will tend to scare possible buyers off, especially in a contact sport

I agree on Ullmark but the rumor is out there, Bernier and Glendening will get more staying in Detroit then buffalo. Glendening has family matters in Michigan can't see him leaving and Bernier has already said that he would love to retire a Red Wing.

Are you just counting the assets in the deal? Reinhart is not returning that much. Jenner is in a contract year and has scored 10 more points than Okposo over the last 3 years. Korpisalo had 1 good playoff series. The Eichel injury isnt a concern and wont discount his value. The problem with the Eichel injury is that Pegula tried to force him to play while hurt

I think if thats the return for eichel, im all in. If we get a 22 first and a roster player (forward) for reinhart im happy. I still think seattle takes borgen, maybe we get lucky and bighead gets a say, probably take a crack at thompson. I cant say im looking forward to thompson getting more ice time here if eichel and reinhart go.

They better protect Borgen. No point in protecting Risto, even if they lose him its 1 year

We are 6 coaches and 4 gms in now, and they all want to hold onto him like grim death. I wont be surprised if they protect him. Its going to break their hearts if we cant resign him.

No chance we give up that draft pick for Reinhart. Swap it out for the Tampa or Toronto pick in this draft. The rest of the pieces are fine. Still an overpay but fine. Foudy=Late first. Jenner and nick foligno are practically identical players but Jenner can play center. So his value is probably a late second. Korpi down year is a 3rd would be fair. And a late first on top of that. So. 2 late firsts a second and third in value. Probably fair.

Well, we're certainly not trading those guys for a near-busted high pick who had a hot streak.

See, we can do it too!
