Canucks should accept but some fans on here will disagree.

Seems like a lot paid by minny, isn’t talbot their starting goalie?

Minnesota declines, And Copp is nowhere near a 1C he's a 3C at best.

I'd 100% accept if one of Hughes Power Or Clark aren't available

Drop Talbot and add a pick from Minny instead. If they trade for Eichel they won't be willing to lose their starting goaltender

They have KK and Talbot will be exposed for the expansion draft. He's more in here for cap reasons.

It doesn't matter. Copp is a 1C on this team that would be rebuilding.

That's a good deal for the Canucks. If they aren't thrilled with who's available at their pick then it looks good.

Tough to navigate the cap make it work cap wise though.

Just wondering do the Sabres need a goali?. I am trying to think of a deal for Reinhart without having to give up our 2021 1st. Would DiPietro, Lind, the 2022 1st and a cap dump work?

That’s too much for eichel. In a flat cap world while he’s injury riddled and the teams hamstrung, he’s going to get moved way cheaper than anyone thinks. The consensus from the executives article says around 1 1st 1 prospect, 1 nhl player and cap balancing. That’s about it, so the deal above is unrealistic at this point. Probably would end up being more like rossi, rask, dumba and a 1st or something similar. Rask for cap balancing. It sucks cause he’s awesome, but that’s about where it will go the return will be horribly disappointing for buffalo fans.

How is it too much?

Your offer of Rossi, Rask, Dumba, and a 1st is close to mine lmao

Rossi (1st)
Dumba (1st)
Rask (cap)
1st

Rossi (1st)
Boldy (1st)
Rask (cap)
1st
1st

The only difference is an additional late 1st rounder.

Yea and that’s too much. An actual eichel return is going o be super disappointing.

It's not. Players like Eichel rarely ever get traded. You can think you want, but I really doubt the return is going to be as bad as you think.

The athletic put out an article last week with actual gm’ as thoughts on an eichel return. Everyone of them was way less than almost anything we see on here. Every one of them cited his recent injury problems and cap considerations as huge detractions. I was surprised they all were so low on him, but that’s also why I’m not running an nhl team.
