Why does so many Sabers fans think they are getting Boeser for Reinhart? Boeser isn't for trade and I know this as a Flames fan

Why would LA do that?

The difference between Byfield and Eichel isn't two first round picks, Turcotte, and Quick

Wow? What do people honestly think Eichel brings back??

Not 2 top 5, 1st round picks?? Plus Byfield and Turcotte..that’s just absurd.

Honestly, I think for LA, if since they have zero need for Eichel, if they do it because he makes them both better in the short and long term. Eichel would immediately be the hands down 1C and that makes everyone's job easier, including Byfield who is developing. The main short term problem LA has is if they move for Eichel, that's three players making ten million for the next three years until Kopitar comes off the books. But he makes them an immediate playoff contender and boosts their offense. He also gives them a lot of flexibility to address other needs like left D by moving a lesser center or forward prospect.
I think honestly from LA, he probably gets Turcotte, a young roster player like JAD, and a third young piece like a Kupari, or Madden along with the 10th OA pick. I think 2022 draft picks will be off the table unless they are lottery protected.
