It’s actually an interesting idea if the Sabres already know that they can get full value for mika and Buchnevich. In essence, a four way trade.

How high are the chances Lundell is even 80% of Buchnevich?? People overvalue prospects so much it's honestly unreal

Wait... so the Rangers are trading Buch, Zib and a 1st for a broken down center who's time table for return is completely unknown. Yea that makes a lot of sense.

Every fan base has those fans but I still believe that kakko laf shesty Miller fox and panarin should have nothing to do with getting Eichel

And every fanbase has these too.

Okay buffalo. Give me your 24 year old franchise player with five years left on his deal! Well, no. You can’t have any of those guys. No not that 2nd pair d man. No, no, not that guy that’s had single digit goals in back to back years.

The league doesn’t revolve around the rangers. It has to make sense for buffalo too.

Youre totally missing the point. The kid has a herniated disc in his cervical spine that theyre trying to treat conservatively. They have given no timetable for a return. Lets say he does return after conservative treatment, the disc is STILL HERNIATED. One bad check, one whiplash, the kid is back on LITR. Now he needs surgery to fix the herniated disc. How long is that timetable for return? A year? What about retrograde nerve damage, how long is that gonna take for him to recover from? So now, this team, thats done with the rebuild, fired their entire staff to go into a win mode just traded for a guy they probably wont see for 2 years. How does that make any sense at all?

Don’t trade for him then. But don’t say it diminishes his value. It doesn’t.

The fact that theyre trading for someone of questionable health and an indeterminable timetable for return, as well as injury risk, absolutely affects his trade value.

Well its not a fact that they’re trading for him. There are 30 other teams that can trade for him. Like i said, the league does not revolve around the rangers. it effects his trade value zero.

The league can do whatever it wants, personally, id rather the Rangers make an offer on Hertl.

Have you watched kakko play this season he’s great defensively and with a new coach he should be top 6 and the numbers will come

Pretty high actually
Buch has had a breakout season playing on the 1st line, not a good 2 way player and is a winger
Lundell is a top 10 NHL prospect who plays an elite 2 way game and has great goal scoring abilities, and is ppg in a pro league as a 2 way center at 19

I have. He’s solid defensively. Been a pretty disappointing start to his NHL career though.

Sure. Get a 50 point guy. Actually that might be a bit kind to ole Tomas. He’s only cracked 50 points once in his illustrious career.

What were Strome's numbers like before he got to the Rangers and lined up with Panarin?
