You aren't living in reality. To think wild are going to trade an untouchable player in Joel Eriksson Ek, a stud top 10 young c then add top 10 pick c marco rossi, & fiala is a level of unrealistic. Not ever happening

Also, to make this work, the Wild would need to trade Dumba somewhere else and/or buyout Rask in order to pay our guys and afford Eichel's cap hit.

Eichel is a very good player and a very valuable asset, but you're going to be really disappointed if you think he'd return a package like that. I could see Fiala and Rossi with an add, but I don't see us moving Ek along with those two (or in general, he's apparently off the table).

Wild won't offer Ek in any trade. Untouchable is a strong word but Wild aren't willing to move him.
Eichel is damaged goods who wants a surgery that hasn't had a history in the NHL. Plus he isn't really a team first guy, kind of a malcontent. If Eichel is anywhere near this expensive, I'm hoping Guerin says " You know what, I can't make that 10 million a year work, how much for Reinhart?"

My issue with Reinhart is that he isn't a center. Or I should rephrase to say he can play center but hates playing the position.

He's well on record stating that he prefers to play the wing. He played center this year simply out of necessity.

To be fair though, you'd probably be that way too if you played for a dumpster fire like BUF that not only is one of the worst run front offices and ownerships in the league, but also doesn't give two ****s about their players either. This is a franchise that more or less just told and demanded their franchise center they don't care if he is hurt or not... just go out there and play anyway.

He's got a right to be malcontent if you ask me. Why should he be about the team when the franchise team doesn't care about him? He has zero issues with his teammates, just management.

Also Tampa can not take on salary if trading Johnson. They have cap issues next year.
