Seider is far more valuable than Raymond is. I assume BUF would want a C and a D going back.

They need to secure a couple of high end potential forwards, if teams want to throw in a dman after meeting those needs then sure, but a dman is going to be a throw in not anchor the trade. So Det can keep Seider

no it isnt

2 top 5 picks, the 32nd oa from last year and a likely top 10 pick next year is a fair price?

So just Raymond + Veleno + 22 1st? That seems very reasonable.

Maybe something else like Bertuzzi but that would be what Buffalo is looking for

Depends on context, Yakupov went first overall, he wouldnt move the needle. doesnt matter where they were picked it matters what they have done

If Veleno, Raymond and this year's 1st get it done, I would be astounded. Even if you added Wallinder or Viro or another B level D prospect.

Context is they were just drafted, if Yakupov was offered in a trade the year he was drafted his value would be very high

Not at all. Youre just missing the point. Its 1 opinion. In mine this isnt close. Firsts and d prospects are the least of Buffalos interests, thats not even an opinion thats just looking at Buffalos needs. They need forwards 21 draft sucks and they dont have 3-4 years to wait on a '22 picks

Have you looked at the 2021 draft at all by chance? The things it "suck" about it are the 1st OA pick not being a franchise level prospect and anything after pick 20 only. a top 10 pick in this draft is still worth a top 10 pick in most drafts

I have looked at it and the top 10 is 60 or 70% dmen depending whos article you read and as ive stated a million times, the Sabres need forwards. Theirs a future 2C and a middle 6 winger in the top 10, this draft sucks

You might wanna just give up. I mean don't you have to doubt the mental acumen of anyone who says lottery picks are garbage? He has a specific set of players he wants from LA. He's posted variations of the trade several times. The ironic thing is that the return he wants is worse than a lot of the GM's he's been bagging on.

I don't think this gets Eichel and I also think Detroit shouldn't even try to get Eichel because they can't afford to give up a ton of assets for a single player.

Quoting: Shibbal18
1sts arent going to get you Eichel, picks are the least interesting asset at this point

I do believe Buffalo said 4 1st rd picks or a package with similar value. So according to The Sabers you can get Eichel with just 1st round picks 4 of them to be exact.

Wallinder + Raymond + 2021 Det 1st and then another 1st round pick

There isn't a player in the NHL worth that much.

70% defensemen? You have Powers, Hughes, and Clarke. Maybe Edvinsson but thats it. I see what the issue is now, you dont realize how close in skill the top 10 is since you see all the forwards as middle 6 guys (which is just fundamentally wrong). The only difference between this draft and 2015 is there is no McDavid or Eichel at the top of the list

Oh sorry Wallstedt is a goalie + Hughes. The Sabres also have their 1st which is top 3. Beniers is literally advertised as a future 2C that teams would want to have and hes supposedly the best of all of them. This draft sucks and thats a unanimous opinion not my own. They are better off getting a forward prospect that has already shown what he can do in the pro game and has already started developing

I apologize I thought the 4 1st rd picks came from Buffalo and the only mention I could find was in Yahoo sports rumor page.
