There's no way Philly would give up Farabee from a realistic perspective.

It would have to be TK for cap purposes.

It's more likely to be TK if Philly trades a winger. Farabee just has so much potential.

I mean, TK definitely took a step back this year but he should be a perennial 25+ goal scorer in a full season and likely would be 30+ in a full normal season. So they both have potential but yes Farabee would be untouchable IMO.

I get what you’re saying, I wouldn’t want to trade Farabee either but at the same time you could say “Farabee has to be involved from a realistic perspective” for Buffalo.

I don't think they would get that type of player from anyone with Eichel wanting out and having major neck surgery coming up.

For a true 1C that is 24 years old? They can definitely get that type of player. Centers arguably have the most value in the NHL. Other parts of the package might take a hit but for a 1C teams are likely to part ways with someone they really wished to keep to make this work for both sides. Even with Eichel wanting out, there is still a bidding war to be had. Also, the sabres aren’t letting him have that surgery.

I think your proposal on the post is relatively fair, but all I’m saying is I don’t think Sabres are out of line with saying no unless Farabee is involved. That’s probably the line the flyers don’t cross though.

This is tiring.

You can get your 1C with your top 5 pick this year. And now you also would have #13 OA.

This is tiring.

Yes, it's very tiring seeing so many people try to lowball us for a player we're not trading.

Someone can sign him next year for free then and it isn't a lowball offer HAHAHA

If we get to the deadline without him extended, then maybe other proposals can be considered. But that won't be for another 8 months at least. For certain, he's not being traded this offseason for anything less - Kekalainen has already come out and said he's willing to go ino the season as long as it takes to try to get him signed.
