I like Jake Allen, but he is definitely not a full time starter, especially with that D-core in front of him. The ideal spot for him is a 1A/1B situation where the goalies split their games.

I think I'd accept that Allen deal. Its tough to say without having some convos with Seattle first. If habs KNOW they'll take Allen and then if we trade him they'll have to choose between guys like Chiarot or Lehkonen, etc, should be all fine. My only schtick would be to find out first if the Habs can make a deal with Seattle directly to take someone of the Habs choosing first.

Certainly New Jersey can go the 7-3 route and protect Kuokanen. Jake Allen. I see a scenario where Price waives his NMC for the draft. Almost no chance that he is selected but I would think Price welcome to play few a new team. But when he isn't selected, the Habs will be better cause Jake Allen will be on the Habs.
